INSTITUTE 1. MAJ–CENTER FOR EQUIPMENT NIŠ

Institute 1. Maj–Center for Equipment Niš was established as a separate legal entity in 2010 by the Institute for the Quality of Working and Living Environment 1. Maj Niš. It conducts inspections and testing of working equipment, electrical tests and preparation of technical documentation.

Inspection and testing of working equipment are carried out according to the License for Inspection and Testing of Working Equipment issued by the Directorate for Safety and Health at Work of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs

    The main processes at the INSTITUTE 1.MAJ–CENTER FOR EQUIPMENT NIŠ are:

    Inspection and testing of working equipment

  • -All types of cranes;
  • -Regal cranes;
  • -Lifting platforms;
  • -Hanging scaffolds;
  • -Inspection and testing of other means of transportation;
  • -Presses, scissors, knives, motorized drive rollers;
  • -Internal transport vehicles;
  • -Equipment for the processing and treatment of wood, plastic and similar materials on mechanical drive;
  • -Devices for applying and drying of coatings;
  • -Equipment or facilities for the production, filling, measuring and control, with pipelines for power supply, transmission and transport of explosive, toxic and choky fluids – gases or liquids, other than natural gas, in facilities that are used as working space;
  • -Explosion-proof working equipment used in technological processes;
  • -Temporary electrical installation with devices, equipment and accessories;
  • -Working equipment (machines, devices, plants, installations and tools) for which the employer determines by the Risk Assessment Act that preventive and periodic inspections and tests are performed on it.

    Electrical tests :

  • -Inspection and testing of reconstructed and newly-built electrical installations;
  • -Inspection and testing of reconstructed and newly-built lightning protection installations;
  • -Measurement of soil specific resistance;
  • -Inspection and testing of transformer stations;
  • -Testing and adjustment of relay protection;
  • -Testing of cable insulation and outer sheath of cables;
  • -Inspection and testing of earthing systems of high-voltage power plants (resistance of earthing system propagation, galvanic connection of equipment and metal masses with earthing and with each other, contact voltage and step voltage, potential distribution);
  • -Testing of electro-insulating protective equipment;
  • -Testing of transformer oil;
  • -Measurement of resistance of antistatic floors and resistance of walls and floors.

  • -Creation of project documentation;
  • -Technical control of project documentation according to the Law on Planning and Construction;
  • -Performing professional supervision during building construction;
  • -Technical inspection of facilities;
  • -Issuing an Opinion on the compliance of technical documentation with regulations on safety and health at work.
