Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Protection

This Department operates within the Institute for the Quality of Working and Living Environment 1. Maj Niš as a separate organizational unit. The Department performs work in the field of safety and health at work, fire protection, testing of working environment conditions, environmental protection. The tasks in the field of safety and health at work are performed under the License for Safety and Health at Work. Working environment conditions testing activities are performed under the License for Working Environment Testing – chemical and physical hazards (except for ionizing radiation), microclimate and lighting. Licenses were issued by the Directorate for Safety and Health at Work of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs. Activities in the field of fire protection are performed under the Authorization to Develop the Main Fire Protection Project issued by the Sector for Emergency Situations, Directorate for Preventive Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia

    The main processes at the Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Protection are:

  • -Preparation of documentation related to jobs where the length of insurance is calculated with increased duration (professional documentation, professional analysis, minutes);
  • -Development of the Risk Assessment Act;
  • -Development of documents in the field of safety and health at work;
  • -Development of the Preventive Measures Plan;
  • -Performing safety and health at work tasks for a third party;
  • -Performing fire protection and environmental protection tasks for a third party;
  • -Development of occupational risk assessment analyses;
  • -Training of employees for safe and healthy work;
  • -Basic training of employees in the field of fire protection;
  • -Development of a basic training program for employees in the field of fire protection;
  • -Development of an evacuation plan and instructions to be followed in case of fire;
  • -Development of Fire Protection Rules;
  • -Development of the Fire Protection Study;
  • -Development of the Main Fire Protection Project;
  • -Development of the Fire Protection Plan;
  • -Development of a conceptual solution for the safe installation of facilities with flammable and combustible liquids, flammable gases and explosives;
  • -Development of the Accident Protection Plan;
  • -Development of threat-risk assessment from natural disasters and other accidents;
  • -Development of the Protection and Rescue Plan in Emergency Situations;
  • -Development of the Waste Management Plan;
